Connection to the platform

Should I use my login details from the 2025 edition?

Yes, if you were registered for the 28 Day Challenge in 2025, you must use the same login details.

I am registered but the platform does not recognize my email address, what can I do?

Make sure you log in using the same method as when you created your account—either through Google or your email. If you still receive an error message, write to us at defi28jours@fondationjeanlapointe.org.

What are the password requirements?

Your password must be between 8 and 100 characters of your choice and cannot be entirely numeric.

What happens if I lose my password?

At the bottom of the password entry field, you’ll find a button that says “Forgot Password”. Simply click on it, and you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to recover your password.

The device I am using (tablet, phone or computer) does not allow me to connect to the 28 Day Challenge platform. What to do?

Ensure that your company’s firewall is not blocking access to the platform. Many companies use very restrictive firewalls.

What payment methods are accepted for registration?

Payment by credit card is mandatory for registration and to access the platform. Only Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted. Prepaid credit cards are not accepted.

Can I register for the 28-Day Challenge or sponsor a participant by paying by check or cash?

If you choose to pay with cash or check, your donation will be counted toward the 28 Days Challenge total.

Please note, however, that your name will not appear on the 28 Day Challenge platform. Therefore, you will not have access to a personal account allowing you to receive exclusive content, form a team, or complete missions. Your name as a sponsor of a participant will not appear anywhere and cannot be added to the participants’ records.

To access all these features and fully participate in the 28 Days Sober Challenge 2026, you must pay by credit card.

What is the price of registration for the 28-Day Sober Challenge?

To access our interactive platform and receive exclusive content, we ask participants to contribute a minimum of $28. This amount is automatically added to your personal fundraising total and directly contributes to reaching your donation goal.

What can I expect once my payment is complete?

You will be directed to your personal page, which you can customize by adding:A short description,
A photo,
Your fundraising goal.

This is the page where you can invite your parents and friends to join your team or sponsor you by making a donation.

View the names of your sponsors (to whom you can send a thank-you email),
Track trophies and achievements you’ve unlocked.

Am I entitled to a tax receipt for my participation or donation?

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt for every donation made through the platform, including registration fees, sponsorship, or one-time donations.

This receipt can be downloaded from the thank-you email sent to the email address used for your payment.

When will I receive my tax receipt?

For every completed donation (registration, sponsorship, or one-time gift), you will receive a thank-you email with a link to download your tax receipt.

The amount on my tax receipt does not match the total amount of my donation. Is this normal?

If you purchased the Challenge Box, it is normal that the amount on your tax receipt does not match the total amount of your donation. According to the laws surrounding the issuance of receipts, the receipt you receive is for the value of your donation, less the value of the box.

If you did not purchase the Challenge Box, the amount on your tax receipt should be the same as your donation.

I registered for January but I would now like to continue in February, do I need to re-register?

Yes, we thank you for continuing and supporting the cause again with your donation.

Can I participate in the 28-Day Sober Challenge alone, or do I need to be part of a team?

You can choose to participate in the Challenge either alone or as part of a team. However, being part of a team means you can encourage each other, complete missions together, and reach your fundraising goal more easily. Participating in a team also increases your collective impact on young people across Quebec.

How do I create a team?

Two ways to create a team:

1- When you register, you will be able to create a team.

2- If you are already registered. Go to the Challenge platform and log in to your profile. Next, select the “My Team” tab, located in the drop-down menu at the top right of the page, under your name. You will then be able to choose a name, a team photo, a banner, a slogan and a description for your team. All you have to do then is invite your loved ones to join you and you’re all set!

How do I add members to my team?

To recruit more members to your team, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your personal page.
  2. Click on the “My Team” tab.
  3. Go to the “My Team” center block and select “Invite a new member”.v
  4. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite and click “Send Invitation”. The invited member will receive an invitation and must click the link in the email to join the team:
  5. Your friend will be redirected to the page to register for the Challenge and will then be able to complete their team registration.

How do I join a team?

There are two ways to join a team:

  1. To join an existing team, you must first register. In step 2 of the registration, select “I want to do the Challenge as a team”. At the end of the registration process, after completing your profile, a page containing the full list of teams will open and all you have to do is select the team of your choice.

  2. If you are already registered, follow these steps:
    • Log in to your account.
    • Click on the “Leaderboard” tab.
    • Enter the name of the team you wish to join in the search bar.
    • On the team profile page, click the “Join a Team” button, and you’re in!

When you’re part of a team, all the donations you collect are added to the total raised by your team members.

What is the delivery time for the box?

Once you’ve received your purchase confirmation, the box should be delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery may take a little longer for very remote areas.

I ordered over a week ago and still haven’t received my box, what should I do?

Contact our customer service team at defi28jours@fondationjeanlapointe.org and we will ensure the issue is resolved.

I received my box but some products have burst, what should I do?

First of all, we are sincerely sorry. Contact our customer service at defi28jours@fondationjeanlapointe.org and we will make sure to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Can I buy a second box?

Absolutely! And even 3 if you feel like it!

How do I fill my calendar?

Filling out your calendar means indicating whether or not you have consumed alcohol.

To do this, simply click on the day of your choice in the calendar and two options will be presented to you: “I was sober” or “Oops! I drank alcohol”. Select the option that corresponds to your situation, and that’s it, your calendar is filled for the day. You are also able to go back to enter the previous day or days, in case you have forgotten to fill it in several days in a row.

Note that your personal calendar is only accessible to you, and you cannot update it for the current day.

What happens if I forget to fill in my calendar?

You can update your calendar at any time without any issues. Each day’s entry remains editable at all times, as long as you update it after the day in question has ended.

What happens if I drink on a day when I shouldn’t?

We won’t hold it against you. The 28-Day Challenge remains a personal challenge, and you can complete it at your own pace.
Furthermore, you can choose to complete the Challenge for an extra day, or make an additional donation to compensate for the day you chose to drink alcohol. The choice is yours.

Can I complete a registration or sponsorship for someone else?

Yes, it’s possible to register on behalf of someone else. However, the participant will need to log in to their account afterward to complete their profile, set their fundraising goal, and personalize their page.

Is there a maximum number of members in a corporate team?

No! From 2 to 10,000, as many employees and colleagues can join your team.

Do people absolutely have to use their corporate email address?

Yes! This is our way of verifying the identity of your team members.

How are the training courses planned?

A trainer from Maison Jean Lapointe will be in contact with a representative of your company to select the type of training (managers or employees), a date and personalize the content according to the reality of your company.

Trainings can be held in person or virtually.

Some members of my company are located outside Quebec. Can they participate in the Challenge?

Certainly! We have no territorial restrictions.

My company is located outside of Quebec, can we participate?

Yes! We have no territorial restrictions.

Will my company receive a donation receipt?

Yes, a minimum value of $1300 will be counted as a donation and eligible for a receipt.
