Do I need to use my 2024 login credentials?

Yes, if you were registered for the 28 Days Sober Challenge in 2024, you must use the same login credentials.

I’m registered, but the platform doesn’t recognize my email. What should I do?

Make sure you log in using the same method as when you created your account—either through Google or your email. If you still receive an error message, write to us at info@fondationjeanlapointe.org.

What are the password requirements?

Your password must be between 8 and 100 characters of your choice and cannot be entirely numeric.

What happens if I lose my password?

At the bottom of the password entry field, you’ll find a button that says “Forgot Password”. Simply click on it, and you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to recover your password.

The device I’m using (tablet, phone, or computer) doesn’t allow me to connect to the 28 Days Sober Challenge platform. What should I do?

Ensure that your company’s firewall is not blocking access to the platform. Many companies use very restrictive firewalls.

What payment methods are accepted for registration?

Payment by credit card is mandatory for registration and to access the platform. Only Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted. Prepaid credit cards are not accepted.

Can I register for the 28 Days Challenge or sponsor a participant by paying with cash or check?

If you choose to pay with cash or check, your donation will be counted toward the 28 Days Challenge total.

However:
Your name will not appear on the 28 Days Challenge platform.
You will not have access to a personal account, exclusive content, the ability to form a team, or the option to complete missions.
Your name as a sponsor for a participant will not appear anywhere and cannot be added to participants’ profiles.

To access all these features and fully participate in the 28 Days Sober Challenge 2025, you must pay by credit card.

What is the cost of registration for the 28 Days Sober Challenge?

To access our interactive platform and receive exclusive content, we ask participants to pay a minimum of $28. This amount is automatically included in your personal fundraising total and directly contributes to achieving your donation goal.

What can I expect once my payment is completed?

You will be directed to your personal page, which you can customize by adding:A short description,
A photo,
Your fundraising goal.

On this page, you can: Invite friends and family to join your team or sponsor you with a donation,Track the total donations you’ve raised,

View the names of your sponsors (to whom you can send a thank-you email),
Track trophies and achievements you’ve unlocked.

Am I entitled to a tax receipt for my participation or donation?

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt for every donation made through the platform, including registration fees, sponsorship, or one-time donations.

This receipt can be downloaded from the thank-you email sent to the email address used for your payment.

When will I receive my tax receipt?

For every completed donation (registration, sponsorship, or one-time gift), you will receive a thank-you email with a link to download your tax receipt.

The amount on my tax receipt does not match the total amount of my donation. Is this normal?

If you purchased the gift box, it is normal that the amount on your tax receipt does not match the total donation. According to tax receipt regulations, the receipt reflects the value of your donation minus the value of the gift box.

If you did not purchase the gift box, the amount on your tax receipt should match your total donation.

Can I participate in the 28 Days Sober Challenge alone, or do I need to join a team?

You can choose to participate in the Challenge either alone or as part of a team. However, being part of a team means you can encourage each other, complete missions together, and reach your fundraising goal more easily. Participating in a team also increases your collective impact on young people across Quebec.

How do I create a team?

Follow these steps to create a team: Go to the Challenge platform and log in to your profile.
Select the “My Team” tab from the dropdown menu at the top right of the page, under your name.
Choose a team name, upload a photo, banner, slogan, and description for your team.
Invite your friends and family to join, and you’re all set!

How do I add members to my team?

To recruit additional team members, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your personal page.
  2. Click on the “My Team” tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the team profile and select “Invite a new member”.
  4. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite and click “Send Invitation”. The invited member will receive an invitation and must click the link in the email to join the team:

  6. If the person doesn’t have an account, they’ll be redirected to the registration page to sign up for the Challenge and then complete their team membership.

How do I join a team?

To join a team, you first need to register for the Challenge. Once registered, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Leaderboard” tab.
  2. Click the “Filter” button, then select “By Team”.
  3. Choose the team you’d like to join and click on its name.
  4. On the team profile page, click the “Join a Team” button, and you’re in!

When you’re part of a team, all the donations you collect are added to the total raised by your team members.

What do the OR, SILVER, and BRONZE Challenge types mean?

The type of Challenge determines the frequency of your abstinence:

OR Challenge: No alcohol consumption throughout the entire month of February.

SILVER Challenge: You can drink alcohol on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

BRONZE Challenge: You can drink alcohol on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

How do I fill in my calendar?

Filling in your calendar means indicating whether or not you drank alcohol the previous day or on earlier days if you forgot to update it for a few consecutive days. To do this: Click on the day of your choice in the calendar.
Two options will appear: “I was sober” or “Oops! I drank alcohol”.
Select the option that applies to your situation, and your calendar will be updated for that day.
Note that your personal calendar is only accessible to you, and you cannot update it for the current day.

What happens if I forget to fill in my calendar?

You can update your calendar at any time without any issues. Each day’s entry remains editable at all times, as long as you update it after the day in question has ended.

What happens if I drink on a day I shouldn’t have?

There’s no penalty for this. The 28 Days Sober Challenge is a personal challenge that you can do at your own pace.
However, you can choose to:
Extend your Challenge by an additional day, or
Make an extra donation to compensate for the day you decided to drink alcohol.
The choice is yours.

Can I register on behalf of someone else?

Yes, it’s possible to register on behalf of someone else. However, the participant will need to log in to their account afterward to complete their profile, set their fundraising goal, and personalize their page.

Is there a maximum number of members for a corporate team?

No! From 2 to 2000, as many employees and colleagues as you want can join your team.

Do participants absolutely have to use their corporate email address?

Yes! This is how we validate the identity of your team members.

How are the training sessions planned?

A trainer from Maison Jean Lapointe will contact a representative from your company to:
Select the type of training (managers or employees),
Schedule a date,
Customize the content based on the reality of your business.

Trainings can be held in person or virtually.

Some members of my company are located outside Quebec. Can they participate in the Challenge?

Absolutely! We have no territorial restrictions.

Will my company receive a donation receipt?

Yes, a minimum value of $1300 will be recognized as a donation and eligible for a tax receipt.

What is the delivery time for the box?

Once you’ve received your purchase confirmation, the box should be delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery may take a little longer for very remote areas.

I ordered over a week ago and still haven’t received my box. What should I do?
