The Jean-Retto Sour

Our 2025 ambassador Jean-François Baril's mocktail.
A mocktail recipe with a unique taste! The alcohol-free version of amaretto sour: the perfect balance between sweet and tart.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) alcohol-free amaretto with Amaretto Noa
  • 1 oz (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • A few drops of Angostura bitters

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients vigorously in a shaker.
  2. Open the shaker, add ice and mix again until the mixture is very, very cold.
  3. Strain through a fine sieve into a cooled cup.
  4. Decorate with a few drops of Angostura bitters.
