Launching the 13th edition of the 28-Day Sober Challenge
MONTREAL, December 2, 2025 - For a 13th consecutive year, the Jean Lapointe Foundation invites the Quebec population to take up the 28-Day Sober Challenge, an initiative that has become, over the years, one of the most important awareness campaigns on alcohol consumption in Quebec. This year, the goal is to raise $500,000 to support prevention, family support and addiction treatment programs across Quebec offered by Maison Jean Lapointe.
23 years sober: from alcoholic teenager to corporate CEO
A Montrealer who started drinking alcohol at the age of 13 managed to kick the addiction passed down from father to son, and now boasts 23 years of sobriety as well as being CEO of his own company.
