Amaretto Sour with Alcohol-Free Coffee

Here's how to make a real amaretto sour like its creator, Jerry Thomas, but with a twist. Patrice found inspiration for the coffee amaretto sour in two things he particularly loves: coffee and Italian amaretti cookies. You know what they say: life's too short, so why not mix these two exquisite flavors together? The secret to making this cocktail to perfection? Shake well!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz (45 ml) Monsieur Cocktail alcohol-free amaretto
  • ½ oz (15 ml) brewed coffee
  • ¾ oz (23 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 coffee beans (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients vigorously in a shaker.
  2. Open the shaker, add ice and blend again until the mixture is very cold.
  3. Strain through a fine sieve into a cooled cup.
  4. Garnish with a few coffee beans.
